Hi Malcolm:

I apologize for my ignorance, but what is a mobile dimension sawmill?  Can you provide a link to a vendor, maybe the vendor you're most interested in?

thanks,

Peter

Hi Malcolm:

I watched their video here http://www.mobilemfg.com/portable-saw-videos.html

Looks like an interesting saw, but I don't have an memory of seeing one operate or hearing about.  Dean's suggestion to visit the forestry forum would take you into a section that talks only about portable mills...someone there must have experience.

Good luck

Peter

Malcolm, this one?   Mobile Dimension Saw

If so, also check over at www.forestryforum.com, where there are several threads on its operation.

I have 20-30 ailanthus trees on my property in the 4-6 inch diameter range.  What specific herbicide and concentration should I use for slash and squirt?  Can you recommend a place where it can be purchased in small quantities?  Thanks. Continue
