Please describe, with two or three sentences, why you are interested in woodlot ecology and management. Your answer helps us ensure that only those people truly interested in woodlots are added as members.
I chair a committee which is charged with managing 3 municipal conservation areas owned by the town of Skaneateles. Much of this land is badly degraded and in need of restoration. We have been asked to come up with a management plan and would like to propose the most ecologically sound plan possible, within the constraints of having almost no funds provided by the town govenment.
