Smart phones have GPS.  Has anyone figured out how to use them for mapping wooded land.  I am especially interested in a way to map  my logging trails.

I'm seeing this question has resurfaced. Just to give a heads-up, I've scheduled two webinars (Sept and Nov 2021) to cover some landowner-friendly GPS, GIS and Google Earth Pro options. Presenters are Soil and Water Conservation District of Warren County who do this training for other staff. I've started using the options, and so far I'm impressed.
