Event Description

Do you own wooded land in Columbia or Greene Counties and are interested in managing your forest to improve wildlife habitat and forest health? If so, join us for this free workshop, where you will learn about: forestry, forest management plans, and the benefits of working with a forester; the habitat needs of forest birds and other wildlife; how to manage for young and mature forest wildlife species on your land; the challenges you may face when sustainably managing your forest; and the resources, tools, and potential partners available to help you.
