The Southern Finger Lakes Chapter of the NY Forest Owners Association (www.nyfoa.org) is pleased to announce the 3rd Annual Arnot Forest Birding Tour led by Audubon NY (https://ny.audubon.org) Senior Forest Program Manager Suzanne Treyger.  Please join us for a fun and informative morning of strolling through young forest habitat to glimpse and hear the songs of the colorful feathered inhabitants and see examples of habitat management for turkeys, grouse and other iconic forest birds covered in recent webinars that are recorded and available at: www.cornellforestconnect.ning.com.  This free and family-friendly walk will take place rain or shine and require walking up to one mile in forest conditions.  The walk will start promptly at 8:30 from the intersection of Irish Hill Road and Morrell Road (a.k.a. Auger Hole Road on the Arnot Forest map) approximately one mile west of the Arnot Forest north gate (www.arnotforest.info) and the Green Springs Natural Cemetery (292 Irish Hill Road, Newfield).  No registration is necessary.  For more information please contact Schuyler CCE Extension Forester Brett Chedzoy: bjc226@cornell.edu
