"The best way for you get in a class would be to contact NYCAMH. They are hosting GOL classes throughout NYS. Contact erika.scott@bassett.org to find out when and where they will be offered this year.  Sarah"

Profile Information

How many acres of woodland do you own or annually manage?
145
Please describe, with two or three sentences, why you are interested in woodlot ecology and management. Your answer helps us ensure that only those people truly interested in woodlots are added as members.
I own and enjoy 145 ac. of woods, am in 480a and have a forest management plan so am active in sustainable management of my woodlot. I also am an active MFO and NYFOA member and serve on NYFOA's board of directors. Our woodland was mismanaged in the past and we are working to restore it to a healthy, diverse forest that provides decent timber and healthy and diverse wildlife habitat.
