How many acres of woodland do you own or annually manage?
> 1,000
Please describe, with two or three sentences, why you are interested in woodlot ecology and management. Your answer helps us ensure that only those people truly interested in woodlots are added as members.
My grandfather had a mobile sawmill operation in the 1940's in Northern Nova Scotia and over the years he was thought a fool for buying land while folks moved to the city. Recently the family business has transitioned from my father (2nd generation) to me and my brother, and I am looking to learn as much as I can to fill in the gaps in my knowledge.
