Dan Cassens, Purdue University Professor and author of the recently released book
“Manufacturing and Marketing Eastern Hardwood Lumber Produced by Thin Kerf
Band Mills” teaches a series of workshops for the portable sawmill owner or wanna-be
owner. Join us at one of these workshops to learn how to be a better sawyer and marketer of
lumber sawed from a small mill. Live sawing will occur on site. A copy of Dan’s book is
included in the registration fee.
