Event Description

demonstrations and discussion by experts around tree evaluation and selection, small-scale logging, portable lumber milling, and post-milling care and utilization of lumber.  The workshop will take place rain or shine.  All are welcome to attend this event organized by the NY Forest Owners Association SFL Chapter with support from Cornell Cooperative Extension. There will be a $10 fee payable at the door to cover workshop expenses. Sessions will take place outdoors rain or shine, so please dress for the weather! Hearing protection is recommended for the milling session. No registration is necessary, but questions can be referred to Brett Chedzoy at Schuyler CCE: bjc226@cornell.edu
