Your answer helps us ensure that only those people truly interested in woodlots are added as members.: I’m interested in woodlot ecology and management because healthy forests are built by understanding how soils, water, wildlife habitat, and tree species interact over time—and then making decisions that improve the stand instead of just “taking trees.” For Edmister Enterprises’ Forestry Management Division, that means practical, on-the-ground stewardship: improving timber and habitat value, reducing invasive pressure, and setting woodlots up to be safer, more resilient, and more productive for the landowner long term.
